Recreational Activities
Following in the "work hard, play hard" matra we've pooled together some of the most
fun you can have without getting arrested! See your favorite channel manager cast
a fly rod, swing a driver, go down the moguls of Snowbird, ride a bike through a terrain
park, or get a facial in the only Forbe's five-star rated Spa in Utah.
Note: all of these activities take place on June 8, 2012, and are free for all Telarus agents and Summit Exhibitors.

Activity Choice 1: The Spa
Step into the Stien Erikson 20,000-square-foot Norwegian spa and enjoy all the luxurious comforts --
from plush relaxation areas and flickering fireplaces to serene treatment rooms and the warmth and
natural beauty of cedar, sage and pine all around. Here, each guest has the opportunity to experience a
balance of tranquility and rejuvenation, ample space and ultimate privacy.
The spa includes 16 treatment rooms with separate men's and women's relaxation rooms. Each spacious
relaxation room includes access to a sauna, steam room, hot and cold plunge. The spa also includes two
Vichy wet treatment rooms and two splendid couple's treatment rooms, complete with private showers
and tubs and a shared private relaxation suite with a fireplace. A delightful pedicure and manicure
area, as well as expert makeup and hair styling services await in the salon.
Activity Choice 2: Snow Skiing (April 14, 2012 Update: Hiking is taking the place of skiing - not enough snow!)
Did you know that the very top of Snowbird is still open for skiers in early June? The high altitude
of the Wasatch Mountains plus the shade the slopes enjoy keep the snow nice and deep well into June
and sometimes July - providing the perfect opportunity to get a few last runs in before summer.
Skis (or snowboard), poles, boots, and helmet rentals will be covered - just be sure to bring your sun glasses, sunscrean,
ski pants, gloves, jacket, and thermal underwear if you elect to join our ski party!
It's going to be a blast -- Snowbird was named the #1 ski destination in North America
in 2008 by Outside Magazine, and both resorts topped SKI and SKIING magazine categories for powder.
Activity Choice 3: Fly Fishing
Enjoy a relaxing and fun-filled day fly fishing on of Utah's best rivers, the
Provo River, which offers a premier blue ribbon trout fishery. Brown and rainbow trout reach record
lengths in the Provo, with a typical fish running 18 inches or bigger. In some areas the Provo offers
3,000 or more trout per mile. As a result, the pristine waters of the Provo River provide exceptional
exhilaration and outdoor adventure! The Provo River is only a 25-minute drive from Park City.
Make sure you bring some clothes that you don't mind getting dirty! Fishing bibs, poles, bait,
and boots will be provided. Don't forget your hat, sunglasses, sunscrean, and bug spray!
Activity Choice 4: Mountain Biking
Criss-crossed by more than 400 miles of single-track trail, Park City has become one of the
most popular mountain biking meccas in the world. For the advanced riders there are plenty
of trails with tight switchbacks, surprise corners, roots and rocks to put your technical
bike-handling skills to the test! For the novice there are "green circle" trails that will
allow you to enjoy the thrills of mountain biking without the spills.
Make sure you bring your cycling clothes: bike shorts, bike shirt, cycling jacket in case it gets cold
at the top, gloves, socks, and tennis shoes. You'll be outfitted with a bike, helmet, and plenty
of bottled water. Oh, and don't forget your sunglasses, sunscrean, and bug spray!
Activity Choice 5: Golf
Not into the skiing/fishing/mountain biking thing? Want to golf some of the most challenging and
beautiful courses in the Mountain West? You've come to the right place. Surrounded by beautiful trees,
clear streams, and stunning ponds, the Park City Golf Club consistently ranks as one of the premier
golf courses in the intermountain region. Early June is is when the beautiful green trees, blue lakes,
and limitless colors of spring flowers and fall trees come out to play. Have a terrific round!
